Fredian Tuyisenge

Fredian was born in Tanzania, but has spent most of her life in Phoenix, Arizona. She’s wanted to be a lawyer since the second grade, when she first learned that Supreme Court Justices serve life terms and have the power to shape the country through a single case. That idea—of setting a precedent and creating lasting impact—stuck with her.

As an adult, she’s kept that dream alive because she wants to make a real difference in people’s lives. For her, the law is not just a profession; it’s a way to protect and advocate for what matters most to individuals and communities. She’s passionate about helping others feel seen, heard, and represented—and she carries that purpose into everything she does.

Family law, in particular, is an area that’s close to her heart. It is a space where everyone is vulnerable—especially the children involved—and the outcomes can shape lives for years to come. She wants to help guide families through the legal process with compassion, clarity, and care, making sure they feel supported every step of the way.

Previously, Fredian served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona in the Child and Family Protection Division. In that role, she represented the Department of Child Safety in dependency, severance, and guardianship proceedings. She worked closely with case managers, families, and the courts to advocate for the best interests of children, often during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. That experience deepened her commitment to child welfare and reinforced her dedication to family-centered legal work.
